XENE is a free resume template showcasing a massive iceberg illustration as a background. Creative blue layout coming in Word, Google Docs and Pages formats.
Make the hidden part of your talents and knowledge more visible
The use of the iceberg as a metaphor is now a commonly used visual illustration and thus clearly understood, especially in business topics.
In a few words, it means the bigger part (of something) is often unseen, hidden underneath -while the tip of the iceberg is just the small (visible) part of it.
For your resume, this visual metaphor (or analogy) would give the following message to the recruiters: don’t judge a book by its cover! Don’t rely on what you first see – but rather, try to dig deeper to understand how qualified a candidate could be for the job. The hidden part is the one that is worthwhile to explore.
Of course, this template is not about lecturing the recruiters!
But it will show them what kind of person you are: probably the one who can take risks for your career. Successful people take risks, right?
XENE showcases a big iceberg. Above the waterline is to feature your name, job position, contact information (left side), and for your profile statement (right). Underneath, the iceberg shape highlights your experience on the left, and your education section on the right. And you will still have some place to list your skills and references (if needed).
XENE is optimized for MS Word, Google Docs and Pages (an Apple format).
